ImagineOpolis, in partnership with local, affordable housing and tiny house groups, is presenting a demonstration project, the first of what we hope will be many projects, to help policymakers and residents visualize what new ideas for affordable housing looks like! We will be showcasing SOL POD Mobile Studio in South Los Angeles and inviting city council offices and the tiny house community to come together to support tiny houses on wheels as ADUs in Los Angeles.

Tour SOL POD Mobile Studio, designed by Vina Lustado of Sol Haus Design. This structure is a 16-foot-long, prefabricated unit made with SIPs panels. It is designed for flexible uses and off-the-grid with solar panels.

We hope this event will garner support to include moveable tiny houses in the upcoming Accessory Dwelling Unit Ordinance. For a list of suggested additions for moveable tiny houses in the Ordinance, please see below.
